  • 1 1/2 Cup Kale
  • ½ Cup Spinach
  • ¼ Cup Parsley
  • 2 Scoops PureNourish
  • 1 Medium Pear- Course Chop
  • Juice of one lemon or 3 Tablespoons

Now with the blender in motion add the 2 scoops of Pure Nourish and blend for 30 second or more. Keeping the blender in motion add the pear and last the plain frozen cubes. Let the blender run until you have a luscious well blended shake. Pour into a tall glass.
*Tip: The trick is to create a flowing liquid with the water, greens and lemon juice before adding the PureNourish, pear and ice cubes.

Hot Spiced Chai

smoothie 5

  • 2 Scoops PureNourish
  • 4 Bags Herbal Chai Tea
  • 2 Cups hot Water
  • Dash Cinnamon *

Pour 2 cups of hot water into your blender and add the 4 tea bags and cover. Let the tea bags steep 3 to 10 minutes depending on your personal taste.

Now please remember to remove the tea bags from the blender (or brew the tea alone). Turn the blender on low and with the blender in motion add 2 scoops of PureNourish. Blend on medium until the ingredients are dissolved with the cover on. Then pulse on hi for 2 seconds to get that yummy foam.

Put a tea towel over the top when releasing the cover in case a vacuum was created from the heat and release the top slowly. This will be a rather thin drink with a great little foam on the top. Pour into 2 cups and share or fill a mug and have it all to yourself. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Tip: Put the 2 scoops of PureNourish and a healthy dash of cinnamon in a thermos to go. Bring along a few Chi tea bags. Most places will give you a large cup of hot water to brew the tea bags. Add the hot tea to your thermos give it a few shakes and you have a great on the go “Pick-Me-Up”.

Peach Melba Smoothiesmoothie 6

Compliments of Chef Nelda of the ARIIX Kitchen  (

  • 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened
  • 2 Scoops PureNourish Peach
  • 1 Cup Fresh or Frozen Raspberries
  • 5 Cubes unsweetened almond milk Frozen *
  • ½ Teaspoon Vanilla – Alcohol Free (optional)

Start your blender on low with 1 cup of almond milk. Keeping the blender in motion add 2 scoops of Peach PureNourish until dissolved at least 30 seconds. Now turn blender to medium high and add the raspberries and the 5 frozen cubes of almond milk with the vanilla and blend until smooth. Serve in a dessert glass.
*Freeze almond milk in ice cube trays and when frozen transfer cubes to a zip-lock bag and store in freezer for future shakes. ½ cup liquid= 5 cubes = 30 calories.
Tips: This is a thick and frozen shake. If you prefer less frozen add more liquid and three frozen cubes.

Spicy Carob Shake with PureNourish

Boost Your Metabolism – Compliments of Chef Nelda of the ARIIX Kitchen  (

  • 2 scoops PureNourish
  • ½ cup Roastaroma (coffee flavored herbal tea by Celestial)
  • 1 tablespoon carob powder (healthy alternative to cocoa)
  •  ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 5-7 ice cubes made with Roastaroma tea
  •  Dash of cinnamon and chili powder for garnish

Add ½ cup brewed and cooled Roastaroma tea to blender on low speed. With blender in motion, add PureNourish and the remaining spices. Continue blending and add 5-7 Roastaroma ice cubes (a few at a time). Garnish with a dash of cinnamon and chili powder.

Tip: Brew various flavored teas in advance and keep them in the freezer in Ziploc bags. I brew two bags to 8 oz. of water for a stronger flavor. Have your water just below the boiling point when brewing and steep for only 5 minutes to avoid any bitterness. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze. ½ cup liquid is about 5 tea cubes defrosted. This gives flavor without extra calories or carbs.

Homemade Lemonade

This recipe is as simple as juicing one lemon, putting it in a glass of water, and adding a couple of other ingredients or make this larger batch.

You can also use limes for a “limeade” which is also very good.

  • 1 cup of freshly juiced lemon juice (usually 4-6 lemons)
  • juice from 2 oranges
  • grated ginger to get the juice (add to your likeness)
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of liquid stevia (or more, to taste)
  • 6 cups of water

Combine all, adjust sweetness with stevia (start low and build up) chill and serve over ice, if desired. It’s as simple and easy as that!
